I shot this portrait of Neil Young and producer Daniel Lanois in Woodside, CA on September 10, 2010 in advance of Young’s new solo album ‘Le Noise’.  As Lanois puts it, there is no band, no overdubs,  just “a man on a stool and me doing a nice job on the recording.”

Sounds good to me.

Here are a few portraits from a recent shoot with two of the SF Giants season standouts : Buster Posey and Andres Torres.  The shoot took place on the field at AT&T Park prior to a 8/13 game with the first place Padres.  The client was USA Today.
