The 46-year-old single mother of two is one of the named plaintiffs in a discrimination suit against Wal-Mart alleging gender bias in pay and promotions.

The company is the world’s largest retailer and the nation’s largest private employer. If the class-action is allowed to proceed, hundreds of thousands of women – perhaps as many as 1.6 million plaintiffs – could join in the largest discrimination claim of its kind.

I shot chef Rahm Fama for Food Network during a recent taping of an episode for his show Meat & Potatoes.  The show is about, you guessed it, meat and potatoes.  And meat.  And more meat.  Rahm loves the stuff and boy can he put it away.  He’s a funny guy who loves his work and it shows.  I spent a couple of days shooting tons of publicity stills around the set and around SF, but I think these shots we did away from the TV cameras work the best.
